be unemployed

I hate working during the school year. I loved doing it in the summer! But it gets to be way too much for me when I have both to deal with, especially with all of my AP classes. But on the other hand, I really do need the money for things like clothes…going out with friends…etc. I am also saving for college. But I feel like I could get much better grades if I quit my job. I don’t know! I’ve been sick this weekend, so I had to call in sick, and I’ve just been doing homework! It’s unbelievable how much time I feel like I have for school when I am not working. I’m pretty torn right now.

I had just finished honours (the end of my 5 year full time degree) and had studied straight from the age of 4 to 22. I got a job working for my honours supervisor a few months later, then quit it after 3 months, and didn’t work till the next year.

I really needed that time to recover from the burn-out from the study, and to try to improve my health.
