I have several perfected cookie/cheesecake recipes. Everyone seems to rave about how amazing they are. I live in a small town so I know I’m not likely to be able to charge a whole lot for them. I know some flyers would probably be the best way to get started. I already figured out that using my recipe for a NY Style Cheesecake costs me about $17.40 per cake. Most sites say to double that which would be $36 which would never sell in our area. $30 is even out of the question. What do I need to do? I am open to suggestions.

I want to make cookies for a living, I will create some good reciepies, or inproved existing ones
Like to have recipes and learn how to keep fresh and packaging.
My business partner and I have started an online bakery (www.sundancebakery.com) and I must admit it is a long tedious process. You don’t realize all that is involved in just getting your product out there. I have gained 15 lbs. perfecting our recipes. We have had many friends and families who practically run when they see us coming because they have had to taste so many versions of our cookies.
We are finally at a point that we both feel our recipes are perfected.
Packaging and shipping are a big challenge and a big cost.
I have the one and only recipe for the worlds best cookie. I have mad about 75 dozen cookies this year and want to find out how to market them. I have people all over telling me they have never had cookies this good before
I’ve had a couple of rounds of recipes, but neither has met my high cookie standards. Both had plenty of chocolate chips though, so that’s a start.
I’m serious about this. I know businesses are a huge pain in the ass, but a) everyone loves cookies, b) Mrs. Fields isn’t THAT great, and c) I think I’d be good at it. I already have a name and general plan in mind (ie, names for cookies.)
Now I have to learn a good recipe. Oh, and how to cook and bake way better.
