I really lost my desire to make a huge display of it… she’s been a lot nicer recently. It’s odd. I did throw out a little comment that made her look more foolish than normal, so I’m calling this one done.

My first job was in the fast food industry. Ugh. The company had a huge picnic with all the district managers and important people (not for me or the other pinions) but it was held in a park near the restaurant I worked at so my boss asked me and two other gals to work at the park that day instead of the restaurant serving burgers to the picnicees. We agreed – it was nice to spend a day outside instead of in the smelly restaurnat. There was a karaoke machine set up and, of course, noone was participating. So when we three girls were given a brief break we got on stage and sang Take This Job and Shove it! We sang with all smiles and laughs so our boss couldn’t really do anything other than smile and laugh along. It was so satisfying to sing this song to him in front of his boss and his boss’s boss and all his peers.

My district manager thinks he’s so clever and lovable. He really drives me crazy.

I want to tell him to get out of my face and go back to manager’s school. And then apologize and say – oh, I made a mistake, sorry, I was assuming you had gone to manager’s school in the past.

I had my perfect chance today!! I needed to speak with a person she was talking to. I waited for a break in conversation, and before I could speak she dismissed me to go back to my office, adding “Take care,” like she was signing a postcard, wishing me well on my way back to no-dignityville. This woman is absurd. I will wait for the right time to deliver that line back.

Upper management; lower management….we’ve all got bosses and I don’t care who you are. Sooner or later you’ve just gotta wanna do it!

I work at McDonald’s and I’ve never told off any of the poor miserable people there; however, at Denny’s I did it once and it felt soooo good. Upper management took my side so I didn’t even get in trouble. Unfortunately I’m much more OK with lower management than upper at this McDonalds.

I’ve had a lot of jobs and i’ve been let go from a lot of jobs but one experience was very memorable. I worked shipping and receiving at a store in ogden utah and the day i quit i told my manager ‘nate’ that his head was shaped like a penis and that he should promptly go f**k himself. that felt pretty good!

I was reprimanded today for eating peanuts at my desk. My boss thinks they are too messy.
