I exercise plenty as it is. I just need to focus on eating less crap food! The chocolate has GOT to go. But it’s so hard.

i never really thought about it until a week or so ago. i’m not fat, not skinny either…i guess i’m pretty average. 5 foot 8, 160 pounds. however, my jeans are fitting tighter every day and i can’t blame it on the dryer shrinking them anymore and i can’t go out to the mailbox without being winded and ready to die afterwards. i suppose the two packs a day and a 6 pack a night diet just aren’t working as good as they did when i was a teenager.
I guess I’m in a lot better shape now than I was when I got here. I can now exercise for a few hours and not be too exhausted. I am taking kickboxing twice a week and yoga once a week. I would say I am in better shape but not quite as good as I would like so I will keep going on this.
I’m still doing the daily work outs, and have even added other activities, too. Not sure yet if the workouts are having any visible results yet, but it seems like my jeans are fitting a little better. fingers crossed
I’ve been hitting this goal pretty hardcore this week, and definitely feeling it.. I am in pain. One of my friends told me “pain is weakness leaving the body” and I got a pretty good giggle out of that. The fitness competition is 10 weeks, and I’m hoping SO bad that I’ll have the results I want by the end of the contest (I want to tone my body!). I need to work extra hard not to sabotage myself with food though. I’m not overweight (I’m only 123 lbs), but I’ve been realizing this week that I don’t eat right for exercising, and it leaves me feeling like I’ve been unplugged.
I’ve got motivation to work on this goal. My friends have come up with a fitness competition; we’ll not only compete against ourselves and each other, but we’ll also motivate each other. It should be fun!
This links into my ‘eat less chocolste’ goal, i’ve started eating healthier, and i do quite a bit of exercise, so hopefully soon i’ll get rid of xtra weight, which i know sounds a bit neurotic and every one wsnts to lose weight, but i’m not obsessive about it, i just want to be a bit healthier.
