live in paris for a while

The apartment is booked!

I’ve been doing some research and I’ve decided that I will be in Paris next April. The next decision to make: whether to go on the cycling tour of Provence in late March or early May.

I have a sabbatical year and I plan to spend part of that time living in Paris.

To do in the next few months:
research expenses (air fares, housing, food, etc.)
research any visa requirements
decide the best time of year to go
determine how much $$ I will need for a few months
figure out what to do with the kitties

I also want to be able to make side trips to other countries while I’m there.

a while? how about forever?

or at least in some part of france for a while, maybe in Lorraine or Bretagne.
