RUNRGRL is trying to fix what has become broken needs to either let 43 things go or get back into it

Hey 2 years ago

I built that Castle didn’t I?

No I haven’t REALLY done this but I can stretch the truth can’t I? I will keep striving for this though. I have a snowsuit for my daughter and I still need to take her to play in the Snow (tobagganing with her makes me nervous though)

Gosh 2 years ago

There seems to be a lot of people all over the world celebrating the arrival of snow while I curse it under my breath, and sometimes not so quietly. But I feel a little entitled, there seems to be no end of it and it’s bitterly cold. Haven’t seen a winter like this in ages! If I could I would make myself a nice snow barrier, stock up on snow balls and have a major snow fight with all the snow worshippers out there on 43things.

Why Fall is actually better than Summer 2 years ago

Never thought I’d find things I like better about Fall than Summer, but with new eyes to take it all in I am seeing something new and wonderful…....

The early fallen snow melted away bringing warmer weather with just a slight “edge” of crisp coolness that was refreshing and left her cheeks rosey as we walked to the park in the stroller. Along the way she noticed the trees in a new way, calling out the different colors that had adorned the trees. Bundled up in her bright yellow coat excited to be out for a walk patiently waiting as Mommy dropped off Avon Brochures in the neighborhood trying to drum up business. Arriving at the park she became suddenly animated nearly jumping out of the stroller, yelling out “walk! walk! walk!” and running for freedom exploring the sand, going down the slide all by herself, independent girl. Swinging for what seemed like an eternity and finally screaming as though her world was crashing down around her when it’s time to go home for supper.
