    *Did not have a very good day today...* 15 months ago

    In some ways it was a better day than those that I was having about two weeks ago, before I started being vigilant with this.

    However, I fell back some today. I do not know what it’s going to take ~ it is very upsetting. I feel like I have let myself down…

    I am praying for a better tomorrow.

    and have gotten somewhat better about it.

    However, that is not my real bad habit. The one that keeps me from pushing ahead with far bigger things. The one that greets me each morning and says goodnight to me as I lay down. Sometimes I feel that it is simply bigger than me, and therefore impossible. Not a criminal thing, but a very self-destructive thing. A part of me that is left over from another lifetime ago, because that is when it started.

    It is a huge obstacle. And I face it every day.

    *Bad Habit #2!* 2 years ago

    I have conquered bad habit #1, so now I am moving right along…

    I am determined to overcome Bad Habit #2 ~ Popping My Knuckles! I do this ALL the time. It is very annoying even to myself. It also makes your knuckles bigger, which is not attractive. So, this must be stopped. I am going to give myself another three weeks for this habit, as I did my first one. I’m not sure how to work against this one, though. I think I will start with trying to make my hands prettier ~ painting my nails, using lotion, etc. Maybe that will derail the destructive habit, I don’t know. We’ll see!

    *Habit Number One Is Almost Broken!* 2 years ago

    I have five days left to beat my habit, and I am doing really really good! I know that I am going to finally get rid of habit number one ~ then it’s on to habit number two!

    *Bad Habit #1!* 2 years ago

    Unfortunately, I’ve discovered that I have quite a few bad habits to break!! I thought maybe I could focus on one habit to break every three weeks or so. So, Bad Habit #1: Biting My Lips! This is a very, very bad thing that I do when I get stressed or worried. I have actually made major sores on my lips because I will not quit doing this when I am so upset about something. It’s annoying and it’s not good for me, so this is the first one I’m going to work on ~ and probably the easiest to break of them all (and that’s not saying much!). My plan:

    *Develop a major nightly routine to keep my lips/mouth pretty!
    *Keep mints, gum, etc. in my purse at all times to counter an attack!
    *Buy a handful of really nice, tasty tubes of lip gloss and keep my lips covered!

    I’m going to buy the supplies for this goal tonight and get started to nix this habit!!

    I am doing so good with this! I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a successful tomorrow! Yeah!
