With cheaper cell phone time I notice that people just talk about silly things. “Yes, I am on the Queen streetcar heading east to my home. I have to take a shower before going to the party. Do you drink? I don’t drink but I will do weed.” Ugh! The whole car heard this conversation! We are barraged with noise pollution inside a streetcar! And why are we all talking at each other like we’re screaming? No wonder so many people use headphones and the ipods are so popular! Thank you ipod! 5 years ago

I eat my lunches with an older gentleman at work who is married. I prefer that because the ladies I used to dine with gossip too much and stab each other in the back. I want a nice quiet lunch without too much drama. And I don’t want to discuss work issues or complain about work related stuff. I like my job, so I don’t really have anything to complain about. Now people assume we are an item. Anyone who is male and female who has lunches together is seen as a couple. That sucks so bad! People call him my grandpa and they call me his girlfriend! I don’t care, but it really isn’t nice. What if word got back to his wife? What if someone whom we don’t know thinks this is true? I even had a lady tell me that I should eat alone so that men would know I am single!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MYOB people! Oh, they also say that he will “try” something sooner or later….Bah! 6 years ago

Let me clarify this…I meant women who make mean comments. I will never understand why women…who are supposed to be loving and nurturing as so vocally mean. If they don’t like what someone is wearing they have to comment on it. If you have a bunch of zits they have to say something…got forbid your tummy is getting rounder! They ask if you’re pregnant!!!!! Holy crap! I have a round ass which i absolutely love and they say i have a big ass! I would NEVER say that to anyone even if they did have a big ass! I might think “oh…that women has a big ass.” But to go up and tell her and slap it every time you walk by her is a bit fucking ridiculous! At least my ass is round…I don’t understand why they feel the compulsion to voice their own opinions on the unsuspecting victim! Don’t they know the harm it does to people? Imagine if I were a child how that would affect me? These women are mothers..they should know better! Shame on them! Phew…I feel better…I wish i could figure out a good come back line that doesn’t sound mean though. So far I just grin and bear it….but I am fuming inside! I know it isn’t important…but i mean…the gall! Especially when their figures aren’t much better…but I would never say anything like that. If you don’t have anything good to say…they SHADDAP! Not mine particularly but seeing other relationships end or turn for the worse. Sometimes the best answer is to end a relationship rather than to wallow in it. I think as long as the parties involved have tried to fix things then at least you can say that you’ve given it a shot. But If one party doesn’t want to try..well that in effect is killing it, isn’t it? There are times when we have to also take a relationship as it is at face value and nothing more. About every holiday. It is barely New Year’s and I see Valentine’s Day stuff for sale already. I saw Christmas things before Hallowe’en season even began. Christmas of 2006 was so commercialized I felt no Christmas spirit whatsoever. The true meaning of Christmas is not about buying the latest thing for my nephews, but it has turned out that way. I hate it when guys tell you they will call or email u and tell u they will call ( I know..stupid isn’t it?) and they don’t! Sometimes I just wanna call or email them back and tell them that they have no class at all! but then that would I have no class for telling them they have no class wouldn’t it? If you end a date without saying you will see one another again that is fine. But to email me later in a few days asking me out again and then not following up is just awful! My granny passed away last night from cancer. She died in her sleep and she didn’t suffer as much as a lot of patients do. She had a very peaceful look on her face. We all loved her very much, she is what held the family together. Now that she is gone I think most will get on with their own lives and we will probably lose touch. I will miss her so much, the memories we had, the secrets we shared, the foods she made…She was definitely such a strong woman…so strong…she raised great kids. 6 years ago

This seems weird but why is it that many times the people who rip you off are people that you trust the most? I lent $200.00 to a coworker last year and he promised to pay it back by Christmas of 2005. I still haven’t seen it and Christmas of 2006 is fast approaching! I asked him for it twice. No look at my pic…i don’t seem very threatening do I? I hate when money gets in the way of a friendship, but this one definitely has. Don’t they feel bad when they know you want/need that money and they are not shelling it back out? I know he buys things all the time…so…WTF? 6 years ago
