Finish Sims 2 Legacy Challenge

I haven’t been on this site for quite a while, but since last being here I have completed not one but TWO legacy challenges :D I’m currently busy with my third and am up to generation 3.
I LOVE sims. Can’t wait for Sims 3. :D

i made some progress. it’s not a lot, but i am finally out of winter and into spring, and my alien child is now a teenager :D

i’ve never had an alien before, so i decided to show her off.

gosh, i think i’ve had this goal on here for almost 2 years? i know that i added it when i first got my account, but i lost my first family and since then haven’t been able to commit. i’ve had the one i have now for under a year..but have made hardly any progress whatsoever. i don’t want to give up, but i just find it hard to feel motivated to really get into it. i think it will be a lot easier once i get a better computer, this one lags quite a bit. but here is where i am so far:

i’m up to generation 3. the next heir, James (who also has a twin brother, Samuel) is a teenager (and has been for many months now). I’m going to send them off to college soon, to endure the many (more) painful months there. i’m also planning on sending their alien sister, Voodoo along with them at the same time, though she is stll currently a child. the 2nd gen heir, Evelyn is 2 days away from elderhood, and her husband, Armando, will soon follow. Oh, and the newest addition to the family is a dalmation called Soho, obtained under Voodoo’s request. i only agreed because she isn’t very good at making friends haha.

ok, tonight i was going to go out, but that fell through so maybe i can use this time to advance a little further in my game.

I keep seeing entries by people who keep trying it and get bored, which totally isn’t my problem. I’m on my first try and Gen 6 was just born in my game, and I love my Sims to death (except for a brief lull in Gen 2 they’ve been wacky and awesome and entertaining the whole time), but I can never find time to play! :(

And now my processor’s killed itself so once again I’m back to square one.

Maybe I’m just not meant to do it :P

To do the challenge, you have to actually make it past the first generation… and this is where I keep giving up. So maybe by posting here that I want to do this challenge, someone will hold me accountable.

I keep trying this and getting to generation 3ish and losing intrest. I have two legacys at the moment one of which I’ve just started a few days ago and so generation one are all children (alphabet legacy lol) and my older ten gen one where generation 2 are children. I want to finish at least one of these things now I’ve put so much time into starting hundreds =]

Well, I’ve had a bit of a setback. My computer has been reformatted, and I can’t get hold of the games again for the next couple of days.

Poor Legacy’s will have to wait in stasis.
