I remember feeling really good physically when I was drinking water every day. Let’s see if we can do it again.
How to drink 3 glasses of water a day
How I did it: Every morning, along with vitamins, I drank a glass. When I get back from my classes I'd have another. On my way to classes I would bring a water bottle. When you're thirsty, drink a glass. Yes, Dr. Pepper or Mountain Dew seems so much more thirst quenching, but nothing compares to the hydration of pure H2O.

Dangit, I have drunk exactly one bottle of water since I started this goal, and that was only because I was at my boyfriend’s house where there was nothing but.
I’m angry with myself. I was drinking water left and right on my mission trip. It also makes it hard when my family always has either soda or kool-aid or some kind of juice in the house.
Maybe I should just give up soda and juice altogether.

I don’t ever remember liking water. Sure, it feels good going down your throat when you’ve been out working in 80+ degree weather all day, but the taste is gross. Drinking more than half a glass makes me feel sick.
But I had a goal similar to this on my previous account and I remember it going over well. I lost a little bit of weight (it wasn’t necessary, but it wasn’t unnecessary either), and I found my blood sugars to be a little more regular.
I think I’ll start off with three glasses a day and slowly work myself up to more. So here we go.

I’ve found it easier being back at work. I make sure I drink a big glass of water to take my tablets in the morning and I have water on at least one of my breaks at work (morning tea, lunch or arvo tea) then another big glass with my bed-time tablet.
So – I’m doing three…. can I do six I wonder???

I was doing so well while I was away, but since I’ve been home I’ve kinda crashed and burned! And it’s almost summer here – it’s pretty hot today, I’m sitting in front of a fan sipping on Coke Zero…

I’m an intelligent person. I know how important water is the human body. I know how important drinking water is to losing weight. But do I do it???

Of course not! I hate water! I have managed to do it in the past, but it doesn’t take much for me to get out of the habit!
So… 3 glasses a day? That I should be able to do! If I have to, I’ll scull 3 glasses straight when I get up. Or maybe before, during and after pulling a tarot card each day?
We’ll do it together. We’ll band together and hydrate!!
Woo hoo. I’m excited. No, really…. :-)
(oh, and the 21 days to form a habit thing? That’s because it takes one day to work through the physical, emotional and spiritual impact of that habit in each chakra…)
