learn Photoshop properly

Photoshop is so vast and complex in the things you can do that I think it would take years to fully master it. However, now I can do things that I never imagined I’d be able to manage. I can totally change a photo and can move people in and around, and even create photos from many different sources, so i’d say I’ve learnt it well enough to consider this done :)

Definitely making progress with this goal – the more you learn the easier the rest of it is to learn (it seems so far anyway). It’s the basic grasp that’s the hardest bit so far.

We’ll see, still learning and far from expert but doing well! :)

I’m totally doing this :) I’ve got a fat book on it and bought a graphics tablet to ease the strain it was putting on my arm/wrist.

Frustrating at times but overall I am pleased I’m doing it, hopefully it’ll be all worth it!

Accidentally learned a couple of new things in Photoshop this past week. . . learned how layer masks work (although I can’t always get them right the first time), and am getting better at the whole layers thing.

Still couldn’t get a couple of effects to work right, but I’ll figure it out someday. :)

I really ought to just give up on this. I’m in the middle of redesigning a website. I found how-to articles that helped me do a couple of things I couldn’t do before in Photoshop, which is good. HOWEVER, when it came to updating the banner at the top of the page, I had to give up. I know the components of the images I want in the banner, but just don’t have the skills to put it all together. I’m just going to hire a Photoshop professional to do it for me.

It’s so frustrating – I can do the basics and maybe a bit beyond, but I just can’t find the time to really learn this program properly. There is probably so much more it could do for me.

i wanted to learn photoshop forever..i have to start reading all those books and tutorials i have!! :((

because its confuzling….

ive been using Photoshop since beta 6.0. i decent at it, but i dont know what half the tools do stil. i have a book, the Photoshop Bible, i relaly need to read it. i relaly need something to work on.
anyone got online tutorials that are good?
