but have decided to consolidate it other another goal.

My fiance ran across a few of my boxes full of crafting goodies in the garage and moved them inside for me. I went through them all and put all that wanted to keep away and got rid of the rest. Several bags of recycling and trash went out. My extra shelf was moved to my son’s room. It’s looking good. I decided to put a smaller table in there in addition to my light table although I will need to make another trip to Ikea for table legs. The ones I have wont work unless I want to completely disassemble my other table. That one I am giving to my son when he moves out so he has something to eat off of. :o) I’ll probably have time to finish this one up this weekend. very close now.
More progress over the weekend. Getting so close to being done I can almost taste it. I figure I have just a few hours left and I’ll be crafting. I’ve made it through all the boxes – now I just need to finish organizing, pack the stuff up for charity in my car and donate it, hang my shelves and I’ll be in the home stretch.
I’ll just be glad when this one is complete!
I just don’t have the spare time to work on it. What has happened is the room designated to be my craft room is also the dumping ground for all items that don’t have a home. That means that all things must be sorted through before I can even think about having any sort of creative space. I spent couple hours yesterday and plan on taking a couple more hours today working on this goal. I really need to get it done.
the sale went through on Craigslist and I found a couple other after that didn’t work out either. What I did end up getting was a large utility cabinet made of steel that is about 6 feet tall and 30 inches deep and 4 feet wide. The great part about it all is only paid $25 for it at a rummage sale fundraiser for my son’s band at his high school. :o) We got it set up today and I will start the slow process of putting things away now. With any luck I will be crafting by the end of the week. We are going to have to put the flooring on hold for now. We just cannot afford it with Christmas around the corner. Plus I want to wait and see if they go on sale again. That’s ok – we can live on he subfloors for a short period of time.
craigslist for a fraction of what they were going to cost new. I haven’t committed to purchasing yet because I need to be sure they are the size I wanted but I’m pretty certain they are. I just need to go home and check my measurements to be sure. Yay!!
few days. My son had a very busy schedule with school stuff and I have been working my tail off. Today is a home day. I plan in finishing up ripping up the carpet as we never did quite finish with one last strip last week and then I will measure for the carpet squares and cabinets I will put in. I’m pretty certain after the research I have done that I will be purchasing a Pax wardrobe system from Ikea and have it customized for my space. I’m looking at the Aneboda system. This is the less expensive of the wardrobe systems. The other I am considering is Ulnes because for a few bucks more you can actually get solid pine instead of birch veeneer. I need to add it all up and get a cleared picture of costs. I actually have done that but I wont need as large of a system as what I had originally planned for so I need to make some adjustments.
We’ve decided on the flooring and we are going with the carpet squares from Flor. They are pretty reasonably priced and I like that you can easily clean them or replace a tile if it is ruined which is a plus with pets. I can use a plastic mat under my craft area to catch glass when I am cutting and even install baby gates to keep the dogs out when I am working on a project where glass could end up on the floor.
So far so good. Here’s to more progress today…
because I have started working on this one again. I am picking up some shelves this week at Costco to store my craft supplies on and should have everything ready to go to work on Christmas presents by the end of the month. I have plenty of supplies to make stained glass and beaded projects and also I will be making some scrapbooks from a couple people on my lists. I am very excited about this goal!
I wont have a craft room here. We are selling and spliting up.
holidays. There was just not the time to get it done. I am moving it closer to the top of my list as this is a major priority for me now that the holidays are over. I can start planning for a yard sale in the spring and get rid of some stuff that is still usable but stuff that I am no longer using.
