i have planned for the past two weeks on what to eat but i have not followed to it a 100%. i keep making amendments to schedule i have made according to the leftover ingredients/groceries i have lying in the fridge. hmm, is this okay or not? should i be rigid and stick to the original meal plans or is it all right for me to be wishy-washy in what i ought to eat? decisions to eat is always a dilemma for me.

i want to do this because i feel that with a weekly meal plan, i can keep account on how much money i put out for groceries. i’m trying to live on a budget. i find this will be the best way to save money. =)

Okay so I am a little bit of a food nerd, to the point where I drive myself a little crazy. I do have all these meal plans printed out- and usually I have meals planned a month in advance. Or at least my nights.

I think I should leave this goal for now, as it is a point of great contention with my partner. (Or. It is in my head.) I will get back to you, noble goal, when you are less likely to contribute to an existing neurosis.

Agh! Plus breakfast. 20 months ago

This will be harder than it sounds.

I am vegan and I live with my boyfriend who is decidedly not. We don’t like any of the same foods, save maybe sweet potato. I have to figure out a way that we can both eat healthy, enjoyable meals that are somewhat compatible with each other ingredient-wise (to save money).

Also, my boyfriend doesn’t eat much. Our eating habits are really irregular and we’re always scrambling around at the last minute. It’s a bit stressful, etc.

To begin with I think we should concentrate on breakfast.
