I have a home business. But, haven’t really put my heart and soul into it for a while. This year, I want to really work my business and be successful enough where I can leave my other job.

and I’m ready to give up now. It is taking too much time away from my kids, which is my whole purpose of staying home!
It is a great thing to be able to do, and if I can find something I love doing to do from home I’ll do it again, but I don’t even like my job of recruiting… it just isn’t worth it!
i don’t need to work from home, and when i have done it, i haven’t been very successful…other areas of my life have suffered, so this will go on the back burner…BUT I’m ok with that :-)
it’s nice to have pampered chef as a background alternative, but it’s not something i’m totally passionate about, it’s just nice to have as a backup in case i want to earn some extra money…i may do something after the holidays…then again i may not. i think the thing that defines ‘working successfully from home” for me right now is balancing my time between being a homemaker, being a mom and being a wife
so here’s the deal. I’ve been “working” as a pampered chef consultant since february of this year, I had a great start and pretty much took the summer off, i’m now 2 days away from becoming inactive unless I turn in $200 in sales, well as far as I know that’s not going to happen. It is a do-able job and I enjoy cooking, I just don’t like being on the phone and convincing people to have parties and buy things. I’m kinda bummed though because if I “quit”/ become inactive, I lose the group of friends. I’m not totally best friends with these people, but it’s just fun to get out and share something in common with people. They are a fun group of people…and I want to get the cookware, I earned some of it for free and I want the rest at a discount. I can always reactivate for the next year as long as I turn in $200. Anyways…i’m rambling, I don’t really need the extra money, but it’s nice to have…I’ve already bought a few pricey things with the commission I made. The extra money is helping me to decorate my house which is my number 1 goal right now. So as I’m thinking, I know I can always go back to pampered chef, but in the meantime, I’m thinking of teaching piano lessons. I know enough about piano to know what I’m talking about, but I’ve never taught, so I’m a little nervous about developing my curriculum. Has anyone ever taught/know anyone/ have any tips on teaching?
I’ve done it! I’m quite satisfied with myself. I launched an Internet business and I’m selling affiliate products among other things.
This wasn’t easy, actually I spent all my nights for 1 year developping this business, I had to learn so many things. But I’ve finally done it !
I started my Internet business as a plug-in-profit site, and then I started changing the design, incorporaton new products, making joint venture, building my list.
If I was to recommend one ressource, that would be the plug-in-profit program, suitable for beginners and starters .

OK – so you are looking for a new job. You have a recruiter busting her butt to help you find a job. Said recruiter gets you an interview for a great job at a great company. The first time, you are running late… the company has to reschedule for a week later, when the president will also be in town to interview. The second interview, you run late again by quite a bit, but the company has time still to preform interview. Your interest level is 10 out of 10… wouldn’t you think you’d want to make the very best first impression??? Show up on time!!
She wants this job badly, but didn’t have the courtesy to show up on time to an interview. That does not speak well to the company.
I can’t wait to hear their feedback, but I know if you are late for something important like this twice in a row, then you aren’t taking it all very seriously.
Arrrrggghhh!
