I went to the library today to take some books out and so I decided to leave one of my cranes there for someone to find. I love this, for some strange reason it makes me happy so I’m going to be making it a regular thing. I’ve put some oragami cranes in my bag so that I can take one out whenever, wherever. xx

How I did it: I usually fold origami cranes and leave them where i finish them, and it was a sudden idea to write something on them. I got some coloured paper and made my first four cranes. They are green, orange, red and blue, each with different messages/quotes on them. xx

This is THE ABSOLUTE BEST suggestion I have ever heard. It makes me all warm inside and giddy. I know I’m silly, but this really put a smile on my face and I intend to make this a regular habit!
I read this and I just felt a sudden urge to do this. I feel that if the right person received the appropriate quote and / or poem that I have written on the paper, it will inspire and encourage them. Someone out there is encouraging you to keep going. Putting myself in the receivers place, I would be really touched. So, I will do this. I do not ride public transportation, but I will leave it around the school. I will do this.

I’ve only done some simple models, but then again, if it’s too complicated and neat, it’s harder to unfold and read what really matters.
Anyways, I’m loving it. I’ll keep flooding the city with this sort of stuff for a while, I think.

Made my first crane today, it took alot patience and motivation not to give up.Will now do some more and start leaving them around public places with quotes written on them. It feels good to be able to create something.
Calissa wonders why she's so tired lately.
I’d intended to make more cranes, but it’s just not a priority right now. Making them was fun, but it was discouraging to see them get sat on or ignored. It’s possible I would have got a more positive reaction if I’d kept trying, but I’m laying this to rest for now.
Perhaps I’ll come back and have another go some other time.
