Bought “The Stills – Logic Will Break Your Heart” (I’ve loved “Still In Love Song” for a year now – first heard it in summer 2008). It was £4, from Jacks Records.

Well... 4 months ago

Today the “Dyonisis” album and EP came that I ordered awhile ago, listening to their alubm now!

Yesterday 4 months ago

Bought “Mark Read – Peace At Last”, from HMV, £10 (it was released yesterday too).

Just ordered... 4 months ago

“DYONISIS” and “BLUE SHIFT EP” (from the band Dyonisis) through paypal, comes to £10 including P&P for both, not too bad. I really like their music, saw them live a bit too, so it’s a good start since I haven’t bought any CDs for ages.

Bon Iver and Coldplay – LOooooVE. Also getting a new micro system. I currently have this monstrosity that is so ugly and doesn’t really fit anywhere, so I have to sit it on the floor. I think that getting a nice new smaller prettier one will really make me want to listen to more music (MORE MUSIC LESS TV!)

I want to buy:
Red Hot Chili Peppers (all, except stadium arcadium)
Wu Tang (all, specifically Wu tang forever)
Metallica (all)
Fuel (all)

I could just get them online but, and this has nothing to do with metallicas views on doing that, I simply enjoy having actual production released albums. Burned cd’s remind me of high school when music didn’t mean much to me… and on top of that they all look the same in my visor cd holder if I burn them.

Bought some more. Went CD shopping awhile ago, went to Zavvi (used to be Virgin Megastores). I just thought to myself – I haven’t gone CD shopping for ages, it’s something I always used to enjoy, so wanted to do it again. I bought “Slipknot – All Hope Is Gone” £9 (their new CD) and “Incubus – S.C.I.E.N.C.E” £5.

Also, when I went to Edinburgh this week, I saw Fopp. Awhile ago they were saying all Fopp stores would close, but they didn’t. Some did, some managed to stay open. The Fopp in Sheffield sadly went away (in its place is now a coffee place, that I’ve never even been in – it’s a shame, I loved Fopp), anyway lucky Edinburgh has a Fopp, so I had to go in (mum didn’t get it, to her it’s just one of many CD shops, but she’s not a fan of CD shops anyway). It brought back memories (of Fopp in Sheffield that I used to go to, not of Fopp in Edinburgh ‘cause never been before!). Also they were playing Metallica which was cool! Found the metal section and thought to myself, I’ve got to buy a CD from here! So I bought “Rob Zombie – Educated Horses” £5 (Fopp was good for £5 CDs, a few years ago I bought ‘Pearl Jam – Ten’ and I also bought an Oasis CD, think it was “(What’s The Story) Morning Glory)”.

Also, I didn’t buy the CD, but at a rock pub called Bannermans they had free CDs, so picked one up!

I don't want to do this anymore :( 14 months ago

I didn’t think this would happen, and I didn’t want it to happen, but I don’t care about owning CDs anymore. :’(

listenstolongview : maybe i'll just stay dead for a while...

Digital is dead... 18 months ago

I prefer CDs to digital downloads…the CD is the ultimate…first you have the CD in which to play in your stereo/car/CD player…then you can rip the tracks off to put in your mp3 player and make mixed CDs…and to add a bonus feature, you then have a nifty CD booklet in which to decorate your walls with and memorize the lyrics…yay!!

though, I cheat and buy most of my CDs off of ebay or something like that for about 50 cents or so….technically I’m just as bad as though who download music illegally…oh well :P

I have over 80 CDs and counting!!
