How to cut my hair
It made me
feel fresh and new

How I did it: i've always had really long hair, but this year it was probably the longest it's ever been. every time i mentioned cutting it, someone would talk me out of it. i finally took advantage of a god-i-need-a-change moment, and booked myself in for a cut. i convinced the hairdresser (who was reluctant; hairdressers always seem so nervous cutting long hair) to take off 7 inches, and he did. the floor was covered.
Lessons & tips: do it. it will always grow back.
it's like getting a whole new wardrobe. you can style your hair in so many new ways, and by the time you've exhausted them all, you can have it cut again in another style! Resources: bad, impulsive moods are great instigators! |

I’m a guy and my hair is 4 years long now. it reaches roughly the half of my back already. But I think all this hair with beard makes me look older and tired, so I think I need a fresh restart now with a brand new look.

I haven’t cut my hair since 2004 and I’m terrified. I actually had an apointment to get it cut today, but I got really freaked out and skipped it. I mess around with it when I’m stressed and the thought of it being gone is a little scary. I’ll have to do it soon, I can pretty much sit on it. It’s getting ridiculous.

I did it! It’s gone! I wanted to donate it to locks of love but I didn’t realize that I couldn’t donate if it had been bleached, and my oh my had I bleached my hair! At least my hair dresser said they can still use it to do tests on and things like that so at least it’s going to some sort of good use. Oh and P.S…... I freeking LOVE it!

I haven’t cut my hair in so long. It’s probably been 5 years since the last time I cut any significant amount off. I’m scared though! I know that probably sounds incredibley stupid but I can’t help it.
