How I did it: Had a fringe cut in... made my layers way shorter... Backcombed the shorter layers put in red extenstion and a massive bow and used lots of hairspray :)

Afraid of what they will do...

So i am a bit affraid to get my hair cut scene style. I really want scene hair, and not because I think I am scene at all… I just like the hair. I went to get it done before and I showed the lady the pictures told her exactly what I wanted but she cut it wrong and made the layers too long and too few. I am afraid of what might happen if I get it cut because it is so close to school, if she messes up it will be impossible to fix before school starts.
BTW we have that no hat/hood rule at our school including bandanas so if it looks terrible its impossible to hide as well.
I don’t know what to do… should I go for it and if so how do I explain in detail what I want so they don’t mess it up?

I’ve finally got a haircut I like!
I can tease it but I’m not so daring…it still looks cool straight though.
My hair isn’t really that “out there” though, its blonde on top and brown on the bottom – no crazy colours.
Its got short layers with my long hair.
I like it that way and it could count as “scene”.

Okay, So my names JadeJewel. I have scene hair, Its not that hard to achieve. I have actually had Scene hair for about 3 years, Not knowing it was actually a very popullar style and at the time it wasnt. This is me now with my Scene Hair, But I have recentally dyed it. Now its brown on top. Just a tip dont change your hair realy quick dont have it all plain, dead, and stuck to your face one day then the next day have it all razored, Emo fringed, Poofey, Extravagant, And Colorful…. Too poserish!!
P.S. – I see everyone saying that it cost a lot of money to get it razored and colored, Well real scenie teenies like myself look at this as a great oppertunity to show are artistic abillaties other wise knowen as a DIY project. Go to the store find the colors that you want it dye it your self, And get some razor blades and chop it up c: Steady hands required
