visit NYC

i grew up in the farmland of illinis, but decided to venture out to new jersey or college. i go to new york cty all the time now, and it is the most AMAZING place EVER! where else can you catch the statue of liberty and batman about to kiss??

I’ve never been north of D.C. – I’d love to visit NYC & Chicago!

i went to nyc three years ago on my schools eighth grade honors trip. i live in a small town so it seemed huge. its deffinitly debatable as to whether its one of the most beautiful places in the world, or one of the ugliest. although i did find the tourist attractions amazing, being there, seeing all of the homeless, the poor, the lonely, the sad, it made me feel so small and greedy. i wish there was a way to help. a way to make a difference in there lives. i donated a small amount of my spending money to each of them, but still it hurt knowing that i still wasnt making an impact in their lives.

I’ve been but my other half is bugging me to go, so hopefully this year =)

I can’t believe I’ve never been. But now that I live on the East coast, this will definitely happen this year.

I’m flying into JFK on the 22nd of Feb. I gather it’s about $45 for a cab? I’m staying at the Rockefeller Center Hotel. On 51st Street. If anyone could tell me where abouts this is. or What it’s like. that would be great? I’m only staying for 3 nights. But I can’t Wait! I used www.ebookers.com and the whole thing (hotel & Flight) for two people is £550.45
