I want to really learn how to meditate. Find that peaceful, divine place within myself…
I need to learn how to relax, and stop stressing out over the little things, especially since i will be starting college for the first time this year. I wanna learn how to be calm and get rid of all the clutter in my head.
I am going to learn to clear my mind eventually. But so far it’s proven to be pretty tough to do. It won’t shut up for 2 seconds!!!

The key to Meditation is living in the present & focusing on love and light…Looovvve it!!! It is helping me to grow and become more understanding of others’ actions, and how they relate to me.
Chock full of useless information which leads to useless thoughts. The answer to that is non productivity.
Need to learn to quiet my mind. I know when I am listening to music, I get so lost in it to the point that I remark every nuance, every note, how the notes interact with the music, block out and disect theother instuments to that I can analyse the drum patterns, or bass or guitars, analyse the voice patterns and dissonace. etc
There are times I would listen to the same song all day so that I can hear everything and nothing around me disturbs me. Its such a calming effect.
But I would like to also learn how to meditate without music and quiet the noise in my head.
Nicole is grateful.
I need to find a substitute for eating when I stressed. When things go really wrong, I turn to food the way some people turn to the bottle. I know this isn’t healthy, and I’m determined to change it. I’ve been exercising and eating healthy, but I want to do more to ensure my success. I believe meditation would be a good option.

I have been using chant meditation to achieve this goal. This also ties into my goal to chant my mantra 108 times a day.
I have been chanting nam myoho renge kyo as my daily mantra. I have also used om mani padme hom.
At temple I have learned the value of Namu Amida Butsu, which means “reliance on the Amida Buddha.” It is the focus of Shin Buddhism.

to meditate, I will try to do this daily because it makes my body feel so relaxed. I am a stressed, anxious person at times so this is a great tool to decrease the tension in my body.

Every Wed. I go into the steam room and meditate. It is sooooo awesome. The sound of the steam is a white noise that helps me clear my head, and it feels like heaven…only really hot! haha
