    How many times has someone told me I looked pretty, or thinner, or just something nice? I have never given a thank you, but instead went straight into a debate of how they are wrong. It always turns into an awkward silence reflecting how much of an idiot I can be at times.

    This is such a hard goal. I still don’t think most of the compliments I get are fair/true, but I’m MUCH more accepting them than I did when I were younger.
