Hmm, apparently my chain’s dodgy. Must get that sorted.
How I did it: Finalmente con una promocion me la compre y ando bicivilizada por la ciudad, aprovechando las ciclovías y tratando de ir a los eventos asociados con la bici. Además de realizarle las mejoras respectivas.

Now all I need to do is sort the brakes, get myself a good helmet and some lights etc.
My lab manager at work was given a new bike by a friend, and had decided to give her old one away. I snapped that one up, and now I’m closer to getting this goal out of the way. I’ll start riding to work once i’ve got the little things out of the way, and that will save me on bus fare too hoorah!
cranberrygoddess has just noticed 43 things has dumb status updates like facebook
But now that I’ve got it I reckon I’ll use it a fair bit. So far I’ve ridden it home from the bicycle shop near work, and to the local shops to buy groceries, not much, but I’ve had it less than a week :)
to get back on my bike again .. i’d forgotten how much i love riding!! there’s a big valley close to the house with some gnarly single track, i’ll be heading there tomorrow to seal the deal on this goal!
FIX my bike and use it!! i have a great off road bike that is sitting in the basement, it has two flat tyres and the brake disc has seized i think .. shocking abuse of a fabulous bike .. i will get it out and start some tlc and maybe will be out riding again soon, yay
The day I got accepted into nursing school I thought, “I need a bike to ride to school”. I thought, “I wish there were garage sales in February in the snowy mtns of Colorado”, where I lived at the time, and low and behold there was a garage sale 1 block from my house with the perfect city-school-commuter bicycle for $25! Not only that, the people I bought it from used to live 1 block from me in Florida. Talk about wierd! Now I ride the bike almost everyday and I only drive about 2 days per week! I love it and as soon as I get on it I feel fabulous! And I’m saving a ton of money on gas. Best $25 I ever spent!
I broke down 2 weeks ago and bought a bike. I haven’t had much of an opportunity to use it yet since I’m in the process of moving in with the bf but the times I have gone it’s been a ton of fun! I certainly look forward to the fall weather and having the move completed so we can go ride in the evenings! I’ll keep you posted!
jillbug is updating her goals...
Ok…so I didn’t buy it. But I got an old one from a friend. If I start riding it more I might buy a new one.
