find the perfect messenger bag.

but I need more space and will add this back on my goals alter on. I am still looking for it though :) ANyone have any ideas for a men’s stylish messenger bag? What colors would look great, etc. Please send photos if you find something I might be interestd in or a place who sells them. Thanks.

going to knock this off my list and add the goal “make a new bag” back on, I hadnt realized that I had two different versions of this on my goal list.

So I broke down and found a Michaels here. I was trying so hard to stay out of chain stores, but sometimes there is just no comparing the price. I found cheap yarn, by Caron and bought 5 skeins of black and 5 skeins of this dark purple. Im really glad that I did this, because we lost internet access for two days and I would have gone crazy without something to do.

went to buy yarn today and the store I was in was nice, and new, but the selection although fabulous didnt have yarn cheap enough to do this. It would have cost me around $60 to make the type of bag that I want. But the store does sell fiber wear on consignment so I should try to sell a piece or two.

Im going to knit one.

So today I walked around Oakland using the bag that my friend bought me as a going away present. Its pretty good size wise, but I still have to dig. So for a while Im set. I didnt really find any hip places in Oakland in my quick two hour walk around that sold the kind of stuff that I am looking for. I think I will fair better in San Fran.

Size small Timbuk2 messenger bag- any bag with two Moleskine-sized pockets is the bag for me. Huzzah.
