play in a musical ensemble

i was in band (school programs) for 6 years. you may not think that’s anything to be proud of. but i grew up in Pflugerville, TX and we had very good music programs. band was the only thing i’ve ever stuck with for that long of a time other than getting my degree. there are few things that i consider being more fun or even as fun as playing in a musical ensemble. i would like to take classes or find a small band so i can do it again. it was always such a great experience for me to perform, be it on stage, competing, in a parade, or on a football field. it’s a feeling i’ll never let go of and want to have again.
