stay in touch with my cousins

seem to have all lost a grandparent lately ( not on my side).
Will need to send some sympathy cards.

If I can change this to stay in touch with my cousins, all except Cousin A. who is currently making me crazy…
She invited herself to my house to stay this weekend and was bitterly disappointed when I went to bed promptly at 1145 pm, as thats so late for me anyway…
I like her, but…I am exhausted!

for Sat night and Sunday. I’m feeling a bit hemmed in, but well, she is family and in our family we don’t turn family away. Her room is all clean and tidy…unfortunately the rest of the house is having some problems with clean and or tidy!!!

And I hung out a lot this week. After a bit she drove me nuts, but she is coming next weekend to stay at my house, while she attends some sort of Catholic workshop. (Our family is not Catholic, she just decided one day that she was going to convert.)

I also had the nice time to see my Grandma and Mom. Here’s a picture taken by my cousin of the three of us.

My Cousin….has been fun again. She is so cute and young. We are now making plans to run together in a few 5k’s….come spring…

Several of them this week, as I head over to see Grandma and Mom.

I have not been very good at this.

I sent a few CHristmas cards out, not to all my cousins though, as I had intended. The move mid December took the holiday carding out of me.

Then, one of my cousins wanted to use my house as a place to stay while she visited some boy in Raleigh, and I basically said, not now, because the house was a mess and I was mentally exhausted…and I felt like she could get over herself and stay with the boy…. (some morally uplifitng cousin I am huh..)

But in February, I will be going over for a visit with many of them. It should be alright.

COusin A and Cousin N via email. Gave news about my house buying, and got news about Cousin A’s college life and Cousin N’s wife.

Goofy as it sounds, there really is something so special about family. I get warm fuzzies each time I hear from them.

Gotta make time to go see Grandma. (yes, shes not a cousin…I know…but well….)

cousin A has decided not to come. Sort of a relief but also sort of annoying to me because I did a lot of prep work.
BUt hey, I am enjoying my very clean bathroom all the same thank you very much!

She needs a break anyway from Caring for Grandma.SHes coming without a car, and I have a lot of work to be present for that week, but I am going to try to figure out how to help her best.

I want to see her and help her, but I also need to figure out how to not ignore her while shes here, the problem in part is that she lacks a car, so if I am at work for 12 hours, she can walk around town, to the coffee shops, and the Bike store and the antique shop, but… I do not want her to be bored. Plus, now I must set up some shadowing experiences for her.
I will call the school of nursing on Monday and set up an appointment…for her. You would htink she’s 20 she could do it herself…But shes nervous, so I’ll help her. and I get to also clean my home, like crazy. Starting when? Oh like now.
