i have no idea how to make girl friends but im starting a new job in a couple of weeks and im assuming there will at least be some females there. i hope that will bring some results! the problem is, im fine with making acquaintances with other females but i never know how to ‘take it to the next level’, like as actual friends that is, that dont just chit chat at work a little bit or hang out in a big group of people. i guess i never end up seeing them enough times to feel comfortable just calling them up one day to go to lunch or something. its like, when i try to think of the friends that i have now, its hard to remember a time when we were just on the ‘acquaintance level.’ theres no rhyme or reason to becoming real friends with someone, its like it just happens like magic or something. weird.

Lately, I’ve been browsing facebook and looking at other peoples’ albums. Almost every time I come across a girl’s page, there are albums full of pictures of get-togethers, girls night outs, slumber parties… And it makes me feel almost like an outcast. I have both girl and guy friends, but I never do things like this. I need to make more friends with girls. All my life I’ve been more comfortable around the guys for some odd reason, and now I really want to make friends who can understand me from a ‘girly perspective’.

From a girl who mainly has guy friends, it’s good to have friends who are girls, you can talk about things that guys don’t care about and things that are meaningful, definatly worth doing, even if it’s just make one new friend who is a girl, it helps make you feel better about yourself and goes to prove that not all girls are bitches and some can be nice and good enough friends to be able to have that title.

i Just moved to calgary about 1 year and half ago and i had one best friend.She was a japanese girl but she was younger more immature and we had a stupid fight.
