list the good things about every day

After not feeling well for two weeks went to the doctor and got antibiotics, an inhaler and strong cough syrup so maybe I will start feeling better very soon.

Had breakfast with my parents and gave my dad a hug for Veteran’s Day.

Didn’t have to work today.

Saw old family documents, newspaper clippings that I hadn’t seen before.

Going to have a nap now.

Woke up at 5:00am in a panic, thinking of all that I had to do today.

Inspite of that, the day went very well, albeit busy.

Light mist and fog on the drive home, making the country landscape gorgeous. Everything was in grayscale. There is something calming about the way things look in gray.

Fed the army of family that live in the house these days.

Meeting at the Synagogue for a committee in 30 minutes, so I best skedaddle.

The weather these last two weeks has been AWESOME.

Icy cold dip in the pool.

• Warm coffee on a cold morning.
• co-worker bought me a fantastic hamburger for lunch.
• Major project problem solved at work.
• Movie with my daughter this evening. Very scary, but nice to be with her.
• A very cold dip in the pool. It’s 46 degrees outside. Water temp about 60. Quite a rush and refreshing too.

This should be my 200th entry on this goal. Previously I stated that I would stop at 200… changed my mind. I enjoy writing about this goal and intended to keep it going. Even though I don’t write everyday, I’ll keep the name the same.

• torrential downpour on drive home, accentuating the power of mother nature.

• my daughter and I are talking to each other again
• Compliment on the beard today… twice.
• Our cats and dogs all sleeping on my bed together.

Slept in.

Had brunch with a girlfriend and a couple of her work friends.

Went to a campaign fundraiser at a house party. The video tape got taken for the ad.

Had a great homemade dinner and death by chocolate. mmmmmmm

The tropical deluge in Seattle, in October. Man, it poured and was nice to watch when not driving in it.

Breakfast with mom and dad then bought a Wii.

Looked at 75+year photos I hadn’t seen before.

Read my book, I think I will be sad when it finally is finished. Mists of Avalon.

Pot roast dinner that I didn’t have to make.

Notre Dame lost.

I wrote a letter for the campaign to send out and it got published on their website as the letter for people to send out to promote their candidate!

Sigh.

Nada. Zero. Zip.

Oh, I guess there were two things, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.
The Huskies won, on the most amazing play.
The Seahawks won 41-0.

Pathetic list.

• Lots of stormy weather.

• Saw a hawk flying next to my truck on the way to work this morning. Beautiful.

• Some electronics I needed arrived today.

• Pleasant dinner out with much of the family tonight.

The mountain was out.

The drive along the viaduct had a beautiful view of the Sound.

No one swore at me at work :-)
