If you haven’t done it and you want to… What the hell are you waiting for? Don’t grow old not knowing how doing this feels! It’s a little scary starting out but worth it. I just put 795 miles on mine this week! Gonna use that unlimited mileage part of the warranty if I can!

You do it because you love the road. You love to explore the open road, preferrably with no cars anywhere around. You love coming up over a hill to see a gorgeous new vista, one witnessed without the confines of a windshield. You want to be IN the picture, not just see it.
You have to love the look, the feel, the sound of a Harley to love riding one. If you love speed, going from zero to light in 0.2 seconds, don’t buy a Harley, and don’t be a snob and criticize those who ride Harleys. Most people who ride Harleys want some speed, but not too much. What’s more important is the ride, the exploration, the cruise.
People ride for all kinds of reasons, so just enjoy yours.
Just over a year ago my 22 yr old daughter and I took lessons. We now share the ride on a 1200 Sportster. Nothing like it for making a 65 year old feel young!
This is one of my favorite past times. Riding harleys with my friends. I am proud to boast that I am an excellent passenger. I like to ride “bitch” because my only responsibility is to sit back, look cute and know how to lean! :o)
I threw my leg over my first Harley when I was still a teenager and I’ve never looked back. Definitely worth it!!
so a friend’s mom found a place to rent harley’s in sf. i talked w/ my brother who has his motorcycly license and he said that he would love to rent one but that he wanted to test it out first before he gets me on the back of it “you know ang it is much differnet then the sport bikes i ride” he said. so we are waiting for him to get some practice time in
Started riding long ago, but bought my frist Harley in 99. going from a sport bike to a harley was a big change but worth every mile.
