but of seeing whales. It was a whale watch cruise out of Cape May, NJ many years ago, and it set out around 6am. As it turned out we saw nary a whale, but lots of dolphins. They’re breathtakingly graceful creatures, and are so friendly and intelligent. They weren’t shy at all, and were playfully photogenic, much to our delight.

Zaleya It is not cool for the temperature to be 24 degrees (F).
At Forster, NSW (4 hours north of Sydney) and saw dolphins playing in the waves, apparently having a great time. It was amazing to see. I wish I could have gone to Western Australia to Monkey Mia, THAT would have been the place to go.
Without really going into the why’s, I’ve always felt connected strongly to the dolphin. There is such gentleness and intelligence and a sociability that i admire in that sea creature.
For all what it stands for me, and my desire to see an actual person, I still have to have this moment.
Maybe not now, but someday.

I was able to touch some dolphins in a pool at Sea World in San Antonio during a behind-the-scene tour. It was a beautiful moment but made me sad that they were in a small pool and not out free.
