meet my sister

Eeek! She agreed to meet with me while I am on vacation! She just needs a ride from her older brother. >.< So, I am trying not to get too excited in case she backs out.

Touchy, touchy subject this is. Its my goal in life, though. I love her more then anyone else in the world, and I wish we didn’t live so damn far away.

My Parents got a divorce when i was 4, I still visited my father up until i was about 7, but then we moved interstate and i haven’t seen him since. This doesn’t really bother me, as apparently he wasn’t a very nice person.(but i guess they always say that!) Anyway, he had another daughter when i was about 7, who I’ve never met. She would be about 14 now. I’ve googled her name and apparently she is good at athletics and cycling. I’d love to meet her, but i’m not quite sure how i will go about it yet.

And it’s been so worth it. She was the one adopted out – 2 years older than me. She’s fantastic and I was raised an only child so it’s really fascinating.

Well I have two half sisters that I had never met before. I started talking to the oldest one about five years ago and just never got around to meeting her. Things came up or money was an issue and at one point she had a baby during that time frame. Things just didn’t work out to meet, ya know? Anyways, when I took a road trip across the U.S. to move from Seattle to Baltimore, I was able to meet her. I drove through St. Louis and stopped for a couple days to do a meet n’ greet with both of them actually. We also went and visited my dad’s grave while we were there, which was nice since I was never able to do that either.

This is totaly werid..i have a half sister ive just started talking to shes 25 now and ive never gotten to see her in real life. Tho she lives in Seattle and im across the country from her. Ive only talked to her online. This is proble on my top 5 main things to do in life.

I waited so long to meet her. I had a photo of her when she was 2 or 3, and I used to stare at it when I was a kid. Thinking, what would she be like now? How about this year? Is she like me? Does she know I’m out here on the other side of the world?
Meeting for the first time was nerve wracking, I was petrified she would think I deserted her. But each time we meet it just keeps getting better. We are so alike! We’re going to be great friends. And if I’m lucky, I’ll manage to be a great big sister.

After my entire life of knowing she existed, wanting to know her, dreaming about her, wondering if she looks like me—we finally found her!!! I just talked to her for over an hour last night. We hit it off, I thought. She’s happy we searched for her, because she never felt the overwhelming need to search for us. There was always that doubt there for her: What if they don’t want to meet me? What if I was a product of rape? And she had a happy childhood, so she didn’t feel like it was a necesssary thing.

My other sister, the one I grew up with, said it right last night. She said, “If I died tomorrow, I would die happy, just knowing what she looks like.” Finally, the puzzle piece is found. And it fits just right. :o)

I have got to talk, on the phone to my oldest sister. We were both in shock to know how we both came into this world. Things over the phone wasn’t as close as I was hoping for. I hope that when we do get to meet in person, we can bond closer. She and brother may hold something against me, not sure on all that. Time will tell all. But have my fingers crossed for the best outcome, after all I never asked to be born to their Father. But feel that our Family is allot bigger and that there could only be allot more love, if the doors were opened.

and her kids. Only for a couple of weeks though. She has got an intimidatingly huge amount of confidence and youthfulness for a 40something year old lady. Her kids all turned out very well, she doesn’t believe in men. :)
