I”ve done this. It’s something that you do when your learning path is focused on a graduate program, or you simply like literary criticism and writing and reading and can’t stand business. It’s worth doing, but be careful, it is most likely not going to get you a job, you will have to carve that one out on your own, with the argument that your writing skills will make you indispensable to your new firm.
