We came across this wacky little Buddist house while traveling along Taiwan’s Eastern Coastline.

One of the wonders of Taiwan is sampling the local delicacies. This man had boiled tea eggs and roasting duck for sale.
This just kills me. I couldn’t believe it when we came across this sausage stand attached to the back end of a motorbike on the streets of Taiwan. Gotta love it!
John and I were served this lovely dish at Lavender Farm in Hsinchu County, Taiwan. We thought we were getting fish steak.
Well, it’s happened. It’s so funny I have to laugh, but also a little disturbing too. Last night we were out with some friends for a Reach To Teach party. After a fabulous seafood dinner, we headed out to a local club for an evening of dancing. Copious amounts of alcohol were consumed by everyone. Towards the end of the evening, everyone was on the dance floor. John and I were dancing with one of the other teachers. I guess we were dancing too suggestively for her – NOT!!! She accused us of being swingers! I don’t understand how innocent dancing can be misinterpreted for swinging. Not that I have anything against swingers, but anyone who knows John and I would know that we’re the farthest thing from it!
Guess what one of the girls brought for a snack today? A delicious delicacy from Taichung and one I quickly declined.
This hole in the heavens literally opened, spewed lightning and punishing rain for 5 minutes and then magically closed. We thought the gods were punishing us. Turns out they were just having fun.
