I’ve actually done this for the past few days! I actually need to limit myself here; my back is still all messed up from Overdoing Things two years ago. I think my goal is cardio/strength/Muay Thai 5 days a week, then something like yoga the other 2 days.

Okay, off to the gym! :)

I beginning today, Tues 1/6/09, with 20 min/day.Keep it simple.



So Far 11 months ago

I’m doing pretty well with this goal.
It is easy when the weather is as good as it has been and I get to walk everywhere.
I run for 20 mins everyday , that combined with my 40 min walk to/from work, makes up the hour.
On one of my off days I do a Pilates class, it is great – I do it during lunchtime and it really helps me cope with work stress. I don’t exactly sweat during it the class, but christ my abs hurt for a few days after.
I hope to incorporate some more cardio into my daily routine, maybe a boxing or spin class, but for now this schedule is working for me



So Far 12 months ago

This is a good goal to have , as it makes you a little more concious of how much physical activity you do everyday.
On Fri I walked to and from work and did a lunchtime pilates class.
Sat was a doozey, just got in 20 mins when I went to the markets.
Sunday (today) did a 20 min walk/run and have persuaded my mate into a 1 hour game of tennis.
None of the exercise is really breaking me out into a sweat, but I do think low-impact regular physical exercise is just as beneficial and it is something that I can stick with long term….

I have aimed for so many goals of doing gym classes or running 10ks every day. It looks great on paper, but really it is not very practical.
I think this goal is achievable, I will allow myself to spread the hour over the day. Today was:
2 *20 min walk to and from work = 40mins
20 min run/walk at lunchtime.
60 mins of exercise – Yay

i need exercise. other wise im gonna get ruined when i start playing football again on sunday evenings

this has definately become a way of life for me….i think i’ve finally established this necessary life-long habit

have been pretty good about doing this, i probably exercise 4-5 days a week, and if i don’t, i don’t eat as much. i walked an hour and a half yesterday, so that was good. i think i’ll walk again today after work. it’s been working, i’m down from 145.8 to 134.0! yayyy :)

have been doing this everyday and feel great about it. i’m going on my walk right after work today :)

have been doing this and have been feeling better because of it. have been able to eat what i want and maintain my weight.
