ok, I’m back home from spring break. Now is the time to get back on track with my cooking. I need to spend tomorrow morning putting together a menu for the coming week and make my shopping list accordingly. Our lives have gotten a little crazy over the past month or so, but we should be back to our routine and able to eat at home more often. I truly believe that this is important- not just what we eat, but that we sit down and eat a meal together as a family. I will make this happen. It’s just too important. 4 years ago
While we are still in the middle of the very busy school year, I am just trying to cook when I get the chance. I sit down on
Sunday and look at my calendar for the week. I decide which evenings I will have enough time to cook. So far, I have been able to get in at least 3-4 nights per week. Now that I’m developing a stocked pantry, scrambling for ingredients is less of an issue and it’s getting easier. I have also learned just this week what “piccata” is! 5 years ago
I have cooked dinner for 4 days this week…didn’t do it last night because it was “girls night out” but I plan on cooking again tonight so that’s 5 nights!! WHOOO HOOO!!!
I saved enough this week by not eating out to buy myself a new purse!!!
Now I just need to get better at meal planning and buying JUST enough groceries… 5 years ago
