I want to start my own business

I moved to a city about two years ago to be with a man who is now my husband. Unfortunately this city is not quite as creatively inclined as Los Angeles. So, I have been working for a company where I do graphic design but business cards and postcards are the “exciting” jobs. I realize that now….I MUST start my own business here and try and show this city how much fun graphic design can be! It has been difficult to get going, finding the inspiration around here but…i want to try anyway, just need to take one step, and then the other.

I want start a small business that sells fitness products. The concept has been in my head for sometime and finally sat down to design my first product. I’ve been procrastinating on the idea, maybe because I thought it would take longer to design, than it acually did. So now I have the design for the first product. Next step is getting the design produced. Next, is making sales. But before I get to eiether of those, I am going to write a business plan because its essential to every business. So here I go.

I have always wanted to start my business and I am really dreaming about having a company of my own by which I have changed the world and many people praise me for what I have done to them. Once I started a small project but it failed and then I worked in small company and fulfilled a hard project but be cause of financial problems I continued my education and got an MS in power engineering. Now I have arrived at this conclusion that the best way of entrepreneurship is via web programming. Be cause it just needs a PC and an intenrnet connection which I have both of them. Now I have started learning HTML and try to put some time on it every day so that I know what to do next

Shucks, I’ve got some ideas that I cannot quite afford. Once I get a job started though, I’ll look into launching one of my low-budget ideas.

Well, I think I need to do something I love. I also think I’m tired of working for someone else.

I’ve started to look into the “how’s” of starting my own business. I’m going to research the fundamentals, the risks, and compare with other small businesses in New York state.

I’m not sure exactly what it is I want my business to be, just yet.

I have time.

I’ve tried having my own business several times and walked away but I still have this nagging desire to start my own designing business. Things like my age, no formal education and a looming retirement hold me back. But I have been reading and want to educate myself on my own. I’m pretty smart but lack financial backing so I will have to start small. I’m confident I can do it but I need someone to keep me on track. I like taking a project from scratch and designing every nook and crannie of it. Just recently I designed a balcony/deck for our new home addition. I also designed or came up with the ideas for the design for the addition. It turned out just beautiful! The deck I designed is on the simple side but details like laying the decking on the corner in a fan design is just one of the details. Adding baroque balusters and copper post caps add a touch of elegance. I made up a materials list and figured the costs including labor. Now the goal is to pick a date for starting and where the money is coming from (savings account in all probability). The exciting part is putting my name on it.

I know I want to start my own business but I don’t exactly know of what. I do know I want it to be something that has to do with photography and videos and music.. I want to be able to do something creative.. something that people like looking at or watching.

I really want to own my own business. Im so sick of working my butt off to make loads of money for other people. Im not scared of hard work and I would just love to put my mind to something and feel a sense of gratification and accomplishment for something that I created. I dont think I will ever have the money to do it – but it doesnt hurt to dream!

I love to work with people and lead people. Someday hoping to become much more financially secure for you never know what the future will bring to us. Hopefully when its my time to leave this world of hardship which we live in, I will have prospered a booming business to pass down to my children to take over and run and then they can pass it to their children and so forth. Keep a family business going. It has always been my dream. I am looking more in to the line of graphic design because I have alot of creative minds in the family especially when it comes to art. You can do so many things with graphic design. I may start out with something small at first like networking and web design and work my way from there and watch it grow. But I will never give up. I work alot with my Adobe Photoshop CS2 and I love the program and always looking to improve and learn new things.This is one of the pictures I created in photoshop and I enjoyed making this. Took me approximately 1 hour to complete it.
