I came out of High School with so-so english scores and terrible math scores. My first year of University, I dedicated myself to studying in every subject. It paid off.

Commitment is only half the battle: you’ve got to persevere. On the night when you’ve been studying your B.S. chemistry assignment for the third time, do you have what it takes to read it through one more time just so you can get everything right?

Do you have what it takes to re-read that lame novel you were assigned for english, just so you’ll have a better chance answering the lame questions on the reading quiz?

University is not supposed to be easy. Nor is it supposed to be fun. “Student” does not mean “party animal.” Not that you can’t be both… you just have to figure out your priorities and then stick to them—no matter what.

I graduated with a 3.8 GPA. It was worth every party I missed, every chapter I hated, every question I took back to a prof to ask “call me a moron, but how come I didn’t get this??”

This goal is going to take quite some time for me to accomplish, seeing as my GPA is currently 1.9. I’ve slacked off for the past two semester and this recent semester I worked a little harder. I’ve realized that if I want to get a good job after I graduate, I’ll have to have a nice GPA.

EDIT: Actually, after using this:

I’ve realized that in order to raise my GPA to a 3.5, I’ll have to maintain a 4.0 for 118 credit hours. I’ll have to settle for a 3.0 which will take 41 hours with a 4.0

I can definitely do this! I want to obtain and graduate with at least a 3.5. I have a 3.1 now and I go back to school December 26, 2007. I have 5 years until I finish my masters so I need to get there and stay there! It’s going to take a lot of dedication and hard work but I’m sooo ready for it!♥

I had my best semester ever this fall. Raised my gpa a little bit. Not enough to check this off as complete but it’s a start.

I’m very optimistic about this semester. That is all. :)

My gpa is 3.2 right now. I’m taking a course over the summer and I’ve made up a study schedule to keep me on track for that. Mostly I think I just need to spend more time talking to my profs to see what they want in assignments. They know best, right?

I am currently at a 3.06, so I have a hill to climb. I have an exam week next week…acing my exams will be a step in the right direction. Today I devised a study “to-do” list and made a study schedule to follow. My mini goal to raising my GPA to 3.5 is to get a 4.0 this quarter…not an easy feat in pharmacy school.
