I am trying to run the london marathon for childrens cancer but i need to know how to do this, can anyone help

but just for now. I need to get back in the swing of running, and I am so pleased that I added this goal at the beginning of 07 as it made such a big difference to my life. It gave me direction, focus, a hobby and a huge sense of achievement to see the progress I made.
So am definitely coming back to this one.

OK got off my bum for a run for the first time in ages today. Need to get back into a regular routine, as I have noticed that I am finding it difficult at the moment.
Did a 2.64 miles today in just under 30 mins. I had to walk the last couple of minutes home and I was starting to get this really strange feeling in my tummy (a bit like butterflies, but not in a good way) and I was really afraid I was going to pass out.
Thats the other thing – I need to eat more before I run! Ive really not been looking after myself this last couple of weeks in terms of running and eating, and I need to get back into a decent routine.

with the work running club on wednesday – which was fun and I didnt feel like the most unfit one there either! Although I am not as fit as I would like to be.
I didnt keep track of how far we went or how long, so I cant count it but I imagine it was a couple of miles.

Well, my muscle pain has subsided today, but oh my god, am i tired. Literally all afternoon I have been ready for a nap, and I was exhausted by the time I was on the bus home.
I must have gotten about 8-9 hours sleep last night, so I dont know why Im so tired. But I am literally shattered. No running tonight, I dont think Id even cover a mile. :o(

I have pulled a major muscle in my chest and it hurts when I breathe, even breathing when I am sat down not doing anything is painful – so I think running is out of the question as it just going to be too painful.
So I am writing off this week and will aim to get out doing some short runs next week.

as this week I havent run at all, which is shocking. I did an hours aerobics which is good, but i need to run.
The reasons why I havent are:
- Ive been exhausted this week, evidenced by my being in bed by aboiut 10.30pm every night which is very unlike me.
- 2 evenings this week I havent been able to run, one I was at aerboics and the other I was at a youth group
- I gave myself huge blisters on my feet by wearing some new flat shoes which I bought to wear to walk to the bus stop in – however, they mutiliated my feet and I actually cant wear trainers without it seriously hurting my feet – even 2 days later
So I think those are good reasons for not running, but Im not happy that I havent been out. Im wearing flipflops today – giving my feet a bit of time and air to heal in, and hopefully they will be recovered enough so that tomorrow I can do over to the river and do my medium/long run again, as I need to get back building up my weekly mileage!
