And central America. I just haven’t been there yet and I would love to. I’d love to go to Tierra del Fuego, Costa Rica, Peru, Guyana, so many places.
Drewvis is still finishing up the last few songs for the new album
How I did it: I was lucky enough to win a draw to go to Casablanca Valley in Chile and build a house for a poor family with two other work colleagues as part of a team for the charity Habitat For Humanity. Read how I did it…

eubielicious is reconsidering his goals for the next week...
I’d love to visit a few bits of South America. Would love to visit Ecuador and stand on the equator. Also would love to visit Argentina and Buenos Aires – perhaps even learn tango while I’m there! I’d also love to go to a football game there – in Argentina or Brazil – the two best footballing nations in the world right now.
I’m really going there next month. I have the plane tickets already. Argentina here I come!
MadenMT is trying to remember everything I did this year!
The plane is booked, the travel itinerary is being finalized, my travel insurance is purchased, and I’m going to Peru in March!

Wow, 7 months of planning and $3500 later, I’m only 2 days away from completing this goal! I’ve got all my things planned for packing and getting the final details planned!

So I have already been to South American in general. I am going to 4 new countries on this trip. Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. I have already been through Peru and Ecuador. That makes 6! I still have a few more to go, but it definitely will give me a good idea of what SA is like.

Wow, I can’t believe that it is 9 days before my trip. This weekend I bought my boyfriend his money belt from JCPenney. They had this great $10 off anything $10 or more and the money belt was $13. That was all that I bought! So I ended up spending only $3 and change. Aside from that, we have all of our traveling backpacks, sleeping bag, and useful gadgets. We’ve done so much traveling that we’ve gotten used to packing the right shoes, clothes, and other items. Our visas are available for pick up on the 15th and that same day I go to Paraguay for the visa but that only takes 1 hour and its only $65 compared to Brazil’s $130!

So it’s Dec. 3rd and my trip to South America is scheduled for Dec 20- Jan 8, 19 days! And longer if it goes my way (airport needs seats, I give mine up in return to some awesome hotel and a voucher…).
I applied for my Brazil visa yesterday and will apply for the Paraguay one on the 15th (it only days 1 day, 1 hour actually). So I’m getting excited, but I will be most excited when I finish my comprehensive exams and final paper! then I will graduate from my master’s program. That will the make the trip amazing.
Some plans have been made, but nothing definitive. I won’t believe I’m going until I’m holding a plane ticket in my hands. (Or these days it’s probably more like looking at a reservation number in my inbox, but still).
Peru! Bolivia! Maybe Paraguay! I want to go so much it hurts, but a few external things are still standing in my way.
