I already appreciate simple things a lot, but I still wanted to add this to my list so I’ll remember to keep doing it. One of my favorites is taking a nap right after a warm bath. n_n

Chenoa is back after quite an absence. And is done with school and has a job!
I read this article in the paper today where this MBA grad decided to spend a year living the simple life. This meant he spent only on the necessities, no movies, no eating out, no frivolities. I wondered if I could make it work for me… in order to save money?

I want to enjoy the things I love more fully.
Switch off the tube and just listen to music, instead of multi-tasking everything….
Like right now!! bopping along to “All for You” by Sister Hazel, in my chair, before I get ready to go to bed:)
It’s the simple things that mean the most, so being able to sit down and relax, enjoy a nice breeze to it’s fullest and being able to fully appreciate what’s around you.. just really nice.
Yesterday I had my first soft boiled egg … ever. I’m 21! It was sooooooooooooo delicious!
I love catching up on all the things I missed out on as a kid.
Yesterday I took the ferry over to Brodick on Arran. Watched the seagulls on deck and ate buttered toast in the restaurant.
Walked up Glen Rosa. So peaceful. So Beautiful. Sat on a rock and ate oatcakes and cheese. I will come back soon, to climb Goat Fell.
Explored Brodick Castle gardens. Beautiful rhododendrons. Beatiful everything. And so quiet because the castle doesn’t open for a few more weeks.
Walked along the beach. Went paddling … for a few seconds. It was Freezing! Sat on the beach eating fruit scones and drinking earl grey tea. The sun was still shining brightly. Watched a few boats sailing into Brodick.
And on the way back, a bowl of chips and a mug of tea in the ship’s restaurant.
This is the stuff life should be made of.
• I especially like it when you sit across from a passenger on a train, and you have no where to look except at their disturbing frown after a long hard day’s work. Then suddenly they break out into a smile laughing talking on their cell phone. I love how schizo-fragmented people can be.
