live somewhere rural

I live in an apartment in the city now, but my dream is to move out past the suburbs and into the country. I love the idea of going home to a peaceful, quiet place where the neighbors aren’t on top of you. I want to live close enough to town so that I can easily get gas, groceries, etc. when needed. I think Donald, Estacada or Hood River are the perfect places for me in Oregon.
