cmlasalle is back on 43Things - it's been awhile - time to rethink...
I was born into a Catholic family, and was baptised as an infant, but have attended Mass less than 100 times (I’m in my early 30’s). So, I think it’s safe to say that I’m “non-practicing”. Religion was never really on the radar within my immediate family. My younger brother attended Sunday school classes for awhile (why he went and I didn’t, I’m not sure), but that seemed to fall apart at some point – I’m not clear when.
Looking further up the family tree, I remember that on my father’s side, there was little to no discussion of religion. I don’t remember ever going to church with my grandparents. I remember attending a confirmation of one of my cousins, so I guess there was more going on at my uncle’s house than in our own.
So, now Candice and I are parents, and we both feel that it’s important for us to provide some religious experience for our son…
