Treehouse

Today I was able to get through to the treehouse, and reserved the Lily Pad, a treehouse that is one mile out of the way from the main grounds. Thankfully, it contains its own toilet and sink, but whether we would have to walk one mile out to shower is an unanswered question.
These treehouses are located close to the Oregon caves, about fifty to sixty miles away from the coastal towns. It would be very interesting to see what we manage to eat for our Thanksgiving dinner.

Reserved Ford Focus from Budget for $162. Orbitz is a great site to consult. Very easy and flexible to use and it gives you the total you will be charged.
Awaiting the treehouse reservation. I keep gettin their message machine, and there’s only one treehouse left, so I hope we get it. Next time, should we go there again, I need to act sooner.

Stay at a cheapie motel along the way.
FRI 11/23 See the Oregon Caves.
Check in at Treehouse & explore the grounds.
Stay the night at Treehouse.
SAT 11/24 Visit Oregon campuses.
Drive half way back home.
Stay at motel along the way.
SUN 11/25 Drive rest of way home.
MON 11/26 Return car to rental in morning.

Oregon Itinerary

My husband and I plan to go up to Oregon for the Thanksgiving Holiday. So this will be our itinerary in progress:
Wednesday (11/21/07): Pick up rental car.
Finish packing & buying supplies.
Thursday (11/22/07): Leave house by 9am and drive to Oregon.
Call for check in at Treehouse by 5pm.
Night: Treehouse
Friday (11/23/07): Visit Oregon Caves for tour & hiking.
Night: Treehouse or TBA
Saturday (11/24/07): Hang out at Eugene, OR.
Visit University & get shotglass.
Start driving 1/2 way back to CA.
Night: Along the way.
Sunday (11/25/07): Finish driving home & return rental car.
