"Utah is cool. ...and a bit chilly."

How I did it: April 2008: Part of my 25th Birthday Extravaganza!

Drove in from Vegas on Friday night.  We stayed at a B&B in Glendale... but to get there we had to drive on Rt-9 (crazy switchback road!) in complete darkness! 
Saturday we drove back through Zion National Park (Rt 9), stopped at a tourist trap petting zoo in Virgin, had lunch at an awesome cafe nearby, visited Grafton (dumbest ghost town ever), took more photos in Zion, proceeded on to out next hotel in Bryce Canyon.  We bought beer & ice cream from the hotel's gift shop to celebrate my birthday. :)
Sunday we rented bikes and then realized that our lungs wouldn't cooperate at nearly 7000ft above sea level, returned the bikes, drove about 10 minutes to Red Canyon, hiked for a while, met up with two other friends, drove around Bryce Canyon since hiking trails were snowed shut, had dinner in Tropic, and then drove to Page, AZ for the next adventure.

    Ever since 5th grade when I did a project, I’ve always been fascinated with the beautiful state Utah. One of my favorite bands, The Used, is from Utah. I want to really badly want to live in Utah for a couple of years.
