take one photograph a day

I plan on starting this project my first day of my senior year of high school.

It should make it a little easier because i am taking a photography class and therefore get to walk around my school and snap away all day!

I’m excited. I have about 6weeks until school starts

A filmmaker/musician from Brooklyn who took a polaroid a day until the day of his death. It’s somewhat eerie when you know the ending but the body of photos are so ordinary but extraordinary – why, out of all the moments in the day, did you photograph just this one? And why do we save up our photo-taking for weddings and graduations and birthdays, when all the ordinary days in between are so much more interesting?

Note: I may cheat by selecting a photo from something I’ve read or seen instead of taking the photo (our camera battery is really temperamental).

I love my pictures I take them of any thing so they always come out really funny!!

I got my Canon SD 300 back in June. So far I’ve printed 180 pictures, and have been having a lot of fun.

One of the pictures I took for my picture a day site is going to be on the PowerShot User Picture of the Day site on September 13! So please go to http://www.benel.com/powershot/pic-of-the-day.php on Tuesday and vote for me. I could win a 512MB SD card.. even though my camera takes CF.

In order to complete this goal I’ve started a new site. It’s on a third party album site for the moment but as soon as I can I’d like to move it to my own spot. But for now you can see my Photo Of the Day pics here. I’m glad I’m doing it but I’m running out of things to take pictures of. I mean each dog is already there once! I’m sure I’ll think of something. I’ll consider this goal complete when I’ve taken one picture per day for a month. And then I’ll keep it going for kicks.

I mean, there’s always something to take a picture of right? I’m all excited now. I think I’ll make a web page and post the picture there every day. Weeee!
