How I did it: In terms of what most people would class as a proper lolita, I have a full wardrobe and regularly attend, as well as organise, meet ups in Manchester. I've re-decorated my room so it's all pink and fluffy and that was a big thing for me, now my room looks like the inside of my wardrobe, haha. I've found my style and what I like to wear, I can co-ordinate properly and I'm confident in what I wear, that;s what I'd consider it takes to be a 'proper' lolita in my eyes.
Lessons & tips: Get all the staples in your wardrobe and find your own individual style, the rest will come to you the more you feel comfortable in what you're wearing, not in what other people want you to wear.

What it means to be a “proper lolita” is quite debatable, so for the purposes of this goal, i’ll consider it accomplished when i’ve got all of the necessary staples for a proper lolita wardrobe (a much less debatable concept). Mainly i need a good blouse, some bows and berets, perhaps a bag, new socks, and i’m due for some new black shoes. I’ve got a few pairs of bloomers but i’d like a longer pair too.
