Prepare for Christmas

Christmas is exactly one month away! Oh dear… I am NOT ready, I have not really prepared yet at all... must start this goal soon! I did, however, first listen to a Christmas song or 2 a few days ago (Mel & Kim – Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree is a classic!). Talking of that song, the “how about pulling a cracker” joke, well, I have pulled a cracker – my boyfriend who I’ve been with for about 2 months now!
Actually also, talking of music…. I’m sure if I listen to more Christmas songs, I might start feeling Christmassy and then a bit more ready to plan!

Also, though, I saw the Christmas lights switch on in my town, and saw some Christmas trees lit up in Castleton! That does make me feel a bit more Christmassy!

Tree up. House as decorated as it will get with a toddler running around (he’s starting to bat at the tree)

Wrote some cards for the 43things holiday card exchange, and gave dad his card (& 1 for his g/f, & 1 for grandma). Awhile ago I gave my mum and sister their cards. The tree was put up a few days ago too! Took some pictures, which I’ve got to put on the PC.

Advent started (chocolate advent calender, yay!). Also I went Christmas shopping. Today I wrapped presents, and wrote cards. I’ve also listened to some Christmas songs.

I started writing a list of things I would like, and bought a Maltesers advent calender from tesco.

were so worth it.

We had a wonderful Christmas Day with absolutely no complaints about the cooking, except for the occassional groaning :o)
