.. and some more practice. I got my first set of clubs as a birthday gift and I’ve been practicing since. It took me a while to learn the basics but with every visit to the driving range it seems I improve a bit.
How to learn how to golf
How I did it: We had a golf event at my work. Everyone was invited to play, so I decided to sign up. Being as I have never had any interest in the sport (and wasn't totally convinced it even was a sport) I didn't know what to expect.
I was placed on a team with three guys. They were well aware that I was a novice, so they were patient and encouraging as I swung at every inch of air around that ball before finally hitting the thing. By the second hole, I was hitting straight, and by the final one I was finally getting it in the hole!
Lessons & tips: Keep your feet aligned and use different clubs to achieve different goals.

Go shoot some balls as often as possible. Take the time to work on my shot and see where I can improve.
Cheri is working...at a completely different job than when I last typed this
I know it is much harder than it looks. I’d enjoy giving it a try and taking in the outdoors all at the same time!
went to play golf today with Jimmy, Laura, Jamie and Harborside today. It was fun. They guy who teaches was running the marathon, but we had a good time. i am looking forward to going again.
I want to be able to go to a golf course and play nine holes without losing a ball. I want to be able to par on half of the holes (eventually). Most of all I want to be able to have fun while golfing and not get frustrated.
