Got so close at the concert, now would love to meet the man in the flesh (sigh)! Waited nearly 20 years so far to get this close, just hoping its not another twenty before I get to see him again. What a show, the man certainly rocked my world.

He was originaly named John Francis Bongiovi, Jr. on March 2, 1962. He was 17 when he recorded his first song, “R2-D2 We Wish You A Merry Christmas”, of the album “Christmas in the Stars: The Star Wars Christmas Album.” I would really love to meet him because he’s my idol..
shit…i grew up listening to him…
Of all the places I gone, places I’ve seen, things I’ve done in NJ – I have yet to run into Mr. Jovi. It’s bound to happen…
I met Jon Bon Jovi in July 2005 at a Backstage with Jon Bon Jovi fanclub event which was held at Elements lounge (which is owned by Jon’s youngest brother, Matt) in NJ. The event was a listening party for the upcoming Bon Jovi album, Have a Nice Day which was due to be released in September 2005. The event consisted of listening to the new album, a question and answer session between Jon Bon Jovi and fanclub members, and group photos with him. I was able to have him autograph a photo and I got to shake his hand. It was a surreal experience and a dream come true!!
PS I am in the pink top.
Jon Bon Jovi was at a local HMV store in Hong Kong in 1997 to promote his “Destination Anywhere” cd. I was stationed in Hong Kong in the US Navy at that time, and was excited that he was coming! Deal was, purchase his new cd and you got a ticket to get it autographed by him. It was crowded with fans, but not nearly anywhere as much as would be in the US. When he got to the store, he perfomed a few accoustic songs then signed CDs. I went by myself, and so did this guy in front of me in line, so we took turns taking pics of each other in front of Jon at the autograph table. Jon looked like he wanted to be anywhere but there when I got up to the table. Sensing he had jet lag, (it’s a good 17 hour flight to HK from the states!) I greeted him with a warm, “Cheer the hell up Jon!” To which he smiled in shock (And probably thought ‘get out of my face chick!’)His bodyguard just started rollin! I got my cd and my navy T-shirt signed. (Just the plain ol’ whitey one you have to wear under everything – if you ever were in you know what I’m talking about.)
He was damn good looking in person, he has a small frame for a guy, but is well porportioned and HOT!
So if you want to meet Jon Bon Jovi, I suggest wait until he does another solo albulm and goes out to promote it. Going to a place where he will be that won’t be run over with too many fans is helpfull too.
