Yay! Let us know how you like it :) Ours is a DVR too, not TiVo. I think TiVo may have a few more fancy features, but the DVR works just as good to me! I love it and hope you do too.

I’m planning on getting a second tivo for the bedroom. I love how easy it is to record something..just hit the button! No times to enter or anything. Just highlight what you want and push a button. 6 years ago

I can’t imagine anyone getting along without a tivo any more! No tapes to buy! No schedules to remember! You can record more than a couple of hours at a time! The season passes are wonderful to use!

I have the entire last season of Monk on my tivo waiting for Harlan. He can send them to his computer and copy them on to dvd if he likes (although he probably won’t).

Now that I’ve discovered the joys of TiVo, I want other deserving folks to have the chance to discover it too!

In my pre-TiVo days, I was skeptical. What could be so great about it? I don’t watch that much TV, so why would someone like me need it? Well, now I know. I can watch the TV I do watch on my schedule. My hubby can watch what he wants, when he wants to and we don’t have to fight over the remote. I can watch Grey’s Anatomy at 10pm, after everyone has gone to bed… in peace. I can fast forward and make a 2 hour episode of American Idol last 40 minutes. It’s a time saver!

I think SoCal needs it because she has insomnia. Might as well do something other than watch infomercials at 2am :) 6 years ago
