But I take my time.
The best way to do it is not to spend a touristy few days just anywhere. It’s to enjoy the pace of life people lead, and have the best time possible everywhere.
To copy Natália, here’s my list:
Acre been through the state on a visit to Guayará Mirin when living in Porto Velho.
* Alagoas
* Amapá
Amazonas – lived 320km North of Manaus. Visited Manaus a couple of times.
Bahia – been to South Bahia many times, never to Salvador. Yet.
* Ceará
Distrito Federal- live here at present
* Espírito Santo
Goiás – Been to Goiânia, want to visit Goiás Velho
* Maranhão
* Mato Grosso
Mato Grosso do Sul – been to Dourados through Campo Grande.
Minas Gerais – was born and raised there (North)
Pará – visited (by bus)some 8 years ago, when a brother of mine lived in Parauapebas, near Carajás.

* Pernambuco
* Piauí
Rio de Janeiro – visited once and been there on a day business trip.

Tocantins – lived in Palmas for 3 years.

I think Brazil is a great place. Chaotic and troubled, but so is the rest of the world. If we can make it here, we can make it anywhere. I just love my country, and the people, they are the B E S T.

Progress made here- Minas Gerais, and DF (Brasilia) conquered.

Bahia and the North East will have to wait for another day.

We`re going to take the bus through to Mina Gerais to the historic cities of Ouro Preto, Tiradentes, and Congonhas.

The Itinerary looks like this-

Salvador- Jequie (BA))- Teofila (MG) or G. Valadores (MG) – Belo Horizonte – the historic cities -fly to Floripa.

Very much looking forward to this as I`ve spent all my time here in the south.

but, unhappyly, I’m a Brazilian after all. Just for nobody say to me that I didn’t try.

I don’t wanna know everything. Just stay two or three days in any city.
